Jr Blazers Girls Spring Hockey
The Frederick Jr. Blazers Spring hockey season provides girl hockey players 10U-19U the opportunity to advance their development through participation in two offseason tournaments alongside an eight practice schedule. The Spring season allows players the ability to maintain their competitive drive, skating mechanics, hockey IQ, and skill development in an environment that prepares them for the upcoming Fall regular season.
New for the 2025 Spring season, the Frederick Freeze 2025-2026 regular season tryout selections will serve as the basis for Jr. Blazers team rosters. Upon accepting a regular season roster offer, players will have the ability to note their interest and availability for the Spring season. Please note that Spring hockey is optional and comes at an additional cost. It is not required for participation in the 2025-2026 regular season.
Intended Tournaments and Season Fees
The St. James Spring Tournament Series, Springfield, VA - May 23 - 26, 2025
OneHockey Girls Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA - June 6 - 8, 2025
$445/player ($345/player for one tournament including full practice schedule)
$345/goalie ($245/goalie for one tournament including full practice schedule)
*There is an additional $20/player AAU fee required for participation in the OneHockey Girls Philadelphia tournament
*The OneHockey Girls Philadelphia Tournament is a stay-to-play event. Hotel accommodations will be coordinated by your Team Manager.
Registration information for the Spring season will come along with a 2025-2026 Frederick Freeze regular season roster offer. The registration deadline and season fee payments are due by Friday, May 2.
All new players or existing players in need of updated uniforms are required to purchase the Frederick Jr. Blazers jersey and sock set for $82. Pant shells are not required for tournament play.
Tournament selections are subject to change based on the viability of individual age and division classifications. Changes to tournament selections will be communicated with each individually affected team.
Season fees include the cost of tournaments and practice ice. Additional costs are expected to be incurred for uniforms, AAU membership requirements, transportation, lodging, etc.

2025 Spring Season
Registration details for the 2025 Spring Jr. Blazers teams will be included in roster offer e-mails sent to the team selections for the 2025-26 Frederick Freeze regular season.
Offered players will have the ability to decline participation in the Spring season, as this season is not a requirement for the Fall.
The deadline for registrations and payment of season fees is Friday, May 2.
