Skate Frederick Ice Sports & More serves as the home rink for the FREDERICK FREEZE, a Junior B hockey team skating in the Continental Hockey Association’s Premier Division.
Skate Frederick Ice Sports & More is Frederick, Maryland’s premiere skating facility featuring two NHL regulation rinks (200' x 85'). Skate Frederick offers a snack bar, a Pro Shop for all your skating needs, video games, skate rentals, seating for spectators and ample parking.
Frederick is located in Central Maryland, and is easily reached from the north or west via Interstate 70; from Central Pennsylvania via Route 15; from the east on Interstate 70, or from the south on Interstate 270.

From Baltimore Maryland
- 695 to I-70 West to Frederick
- Take 15 North (Gettysburg)
- Follow Rt. 15 to Rt. 26 East (Libertytown/Walkersville) exit
- Turn right at 2nd traffic light (Monacacy Blvd) Exxon/Roy Rogers
- Turn right onto Riverbend Way
- Skate Frederick on left across from Riverside Car Wash
From Points West
- Take I-70 East to Rt. 15 N (Gettysburg)
- Follow Rt. 15 N to Rt. 26 East (Libertytown/Walkersville) exit
- Turn right at 2nd traffic light (Monacacy Blvd) Exxon/Roy Rogers
- Turn right onto Riverbend Way
- Skate Frederick on left across from Riverside Car Wash
From Points South
- I-495 to I-270 North to Frederick
- I-270 turns into Rt. 15 North (Do Not go on I-70 N to Hagerstown)
- Follow Rt. 15 N to Rt. 26 East (Libertytown/Walkersville) exit
- Turn right at 2nd traffic light (Monacacy Blvd) Exxon/Roy Rogers
- Turn right onto Riverbend Way
- Skate Frederick on left across from Riverside Car Wash
From Points North
- Route 15 South from Gettysburg toward Frederick
- Follow 15 South watch for Monocacy Blvd. on left just pass Beckley’s Motel
- Turn left onto Monocacy Blvd. (you will cross over north bound 15)
- Go straight until stop light (CVS/Exxon)
Go through stop light
- Turn right onto Riverbend Way
- Skate Frederick on left across from Riverside Car Wash
