The Frederick Freeze

The Frederick Freeze is an organization born of a passion for hockey and a desire to provide educational opportunities for young men through hockey.   Education is top priority. All Freeze players must take classes at high school or college level and maintain good grades. Our coaches work diligently to promote our players to college opportunities and counsel them in future options. We continually strive to place more players at higher levels.            

The Freeze has earned a reputation for developing young hockey players, treating our players with respect and demanding respect in return. We work hard together to compete at the highest possible level and have the only Empire team in Maryland. Although Freeze players come from Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, the core of our team is from Frederick and the surrounding area.
