Bob Hope and Bing Crosby made many successful "road" movies along time ago. The Freeze hope to have a successful road show of their own this weekend. It will hardly be easy, playing against two of the top teams in their respective leagues, Apple Core (CHA)& Philadelphia(Empire).
It has been a tough start for both Freeze teams with many new players to the Junior ranks. The teams have played tough, competitive hockey even though the W-L record does not do them justice. The organization has always built with youth and this year is no exception. There have been bright spots, however the inability to play a 60 minute game has plagued both teams. This is just part of the big learning curve when you go from youth hockey to Junior Hockey. Everyone in the Junior ranks has been a star in the past. There are no easy games. One player can rarely make all the plays at this level. It takes an entire team of players willing to sacrifice for each other, and for themselves to make the team better. The word Team does not have the letter I.
Life has many difficult learning periods. The people who learn how to grow and expand their ability, especially during tough times, are ultimately the people who go on to the greatest success in life. Those who only think about themselves, or give up anytime things don't go their way, well...........
