Finally, It is a Hockey Night In Frederick. The Freeze begins the 2010-2011 season with the CHA B team opening at home against the powerful Metro Fighting Moose, who qualified for Nationals last year.
The Empire teams starts in Buffalo against another National bound team, the Buffalo Stars.
The Freeze joined the Empire League for this season and start off with a perennial power, the Buffalo Stars. The Stars return 10 players from their 2009-2010 National bound Empire team. The young Freeze team will get a quick introduction to the fast paced Empire League. Buffalo has special events planned all weekend to honor the 9/11 tragedy. Should be a great weekend of hockey.
The CHA B team, the defending CHA American Conference Champions, open at home against the Metro Fighting Moose. Brian Farrell and the Moose always have one of the most powerful teams in the CHA year in and out. They have qualified for Nationals for two straight years. This will be a big challenge for the young Freeze team. These games will be played at Skate Frederick, the home of the Freeze. Stop by and watch Junior hockey at its finest!
